There was a strong demand for well-bred Cross Highland heifer calves at United Auctions annual breeding sale on 25 October, with buyers from as far afield as Ireland and Wales vying for the best lots.

The Highland Cattle Society are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty was Patron of our Society for 70 years, her dedication to farming and rural life will never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathy goes to her family at this sad time.

The Highland Cattle Drove proves to be a big success
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Highland Cattle Drove on Sunday, 5 September 2021. A whopping £11,800 has been raised, so far, for Rotary Club Charities.

July 17th was the first date that Shropshire show went for. They were resolute to go ahead all the way through and were rewarded with beautiful weather and cattle entries that were only 20 down on the record 2018 year.
