Creag Glas, meaning Grey Rock, is the handsome son of our homebred stock bull, Gille Ban Rona and black Fraochan of Ardbhan, one of our famous Fraochs. He’s boasting an exceptional frame, perhaps the best beef carcass we’ve bred so far at Ardbhan and he follows the hoof prints of his sister, Fraoch Dhubh to Oban who
went off to Germany after the Spring Sale in 2019. Despite his white sire, Creag Glas has strong black genes in his heritage through Gilleaspuig of Tiretigan and Gille Dubh 2nd of Killochries, as both of those bulls link back to Rigg, a fold famous for their hardy black cattle.
